The founder

I took on the giants.
Then I did the math.

You are used to hype from a founder with a PowerPoint and a valuation. This is the opposite: my argument is a working toolchain and a file tree that won't lie.

Festus Bradley Nyadimo — founder and chief architect of Brad Devices

Festus Bradley Nyadimo

FOUNDER & CHIEF ARCHITECT · AGE 15 · AFRICA

The industry I looked at was full of walls: Apple's silicon doesn't speak to anyone, NVIDIA's CUDA owns the GPUs, Google's Android governs phones, and the fab is a fantasy gate for outsiders.

My answer was not to pick a side in that war. It was to build all six layers myself — and make them one machine. When every layer answers to one spec, there is no war to pick.

What almost stopped me was the silence — no fab answers a stranger, no fund returns a fifteen-year-old's email. So I spent the waiting on the only layer I fully controlled: software, shipped and green before I ever asked for anything.

The approach

Why I ship software before silicon.

1 · The plan came first THE WHOLE, NOT THE PARTS

Not "we'll make a chip" — I designed the entire ecosystem as one coherent spec: chips, GPUs, memory, OS, software. Seventy-eight documents define it. One book contains it.

2 · The software came next SHIPPED

A full toolchain for the architecture — assembler, runtime, debugger, profiler — written and running before any wafer. My chips will be validated against software that already works.

3 · The silicon is the receipt DESIGNED

My designs are documented to the register level. Production is a fab partnership for Gen 1 — no pretend "made-in" claims. When the tape-out is real, the print trail is already public.

4 · Every claim has a tag RULE

Shipped, designed, or vision — three tags, nothing in between. In an industry built on decks, that is the difference between Brad Devices and the noise.

"Silicon Valley didn't start with a fab. It started with
someone who refused to wait for permission.
Our hardware is designed — our software is already shipping." — FESTUS BRADLEY NYADIMO, FOUNDER OF BRAD DEVICES

What "from Africa" actually means here

It is the structural reason this ecosystem is possible: no legacy debt, no acquired-installed-base lock-in, no prior decade of drivers to carry. A blank, coherent architecture — designed to be coherent from day zero.

  • One GPU ISA across every Torox die — no porting tax
  • Two ISAs, on purpose: BradISA (CPU) and BradVector (GPU)
  • One OS from phone to datacenter — no fork
  • One driver stack — no zoo of vendors to update

I don't ask you to believe — I hand you a terminal

I know the first reaction is doubt. That's why this site never asks you to believe — it hands you a terminal and shows you a running architecture. The spec is on disk. The tests are green. The rest is a roadmap with dates, tags, and no fantasy.

  • 4-year generation cadence, Gen 1–Gen 2–Vision
  • 7-year OS support, 13-year hardware support
  • Reference-first: fact where fact exists

Judge the work, not the age.
